The Bedford County Arts Council offers monthly shows and exhibits in the historic Anderson House, a graceful 18th. century building on Bedford’s main street, and also holds art workshops for both kids and adults as well as the occasional musical coffee house.
Fine art and handcrafted items by local artists and craftfolk - paintings, prints, pottery and photographs, woodcarvings, books on local history and coloring books of covered bridges, greeting cards and notecards, tees and sweatshirts, glass & metal work, soft sculpture, dreamcatchers, papercuttings, and one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry.
ADMISSION FREE
Located in the Historic Anderson House, built in 1814 by Dr. John Anderson, who also built the Bedford Springs Hotel. It served as his home and the first bank west of the Susquehanna. The original vault is behind a double door in the Gallery Shop.
